Every time my cat uses the litter box there is literally showers of litter outside the box. This was such a hassle to clean up usually a few times a day if I didn't let it go all day. Then I stumbled across the the kitty litter mat and now the litter ends up on the mat and caught inside the mat. Therefore now all I have to do is pick up the mat and the litter is contained in this pocket underneath the honeycomb top side of the mat. Clean up has never been easier just pick up the mat and pour the contained litter back into the litter box. The mat is very easy to clean as well simply rinses right off set to dry for a few minutes and it is ready for use again. Also works well as a door mat if you have heavy traffic in the house with lots of kids and a husband with work boots.
